Gregory Garnier was appointed as HSBC Bermuda’s Chief Executive Officer effective 23 September 2024. He has been with HSBC since 2002 and has worked in Paris, New York and Moscow, most recently as CEO of HSBC Russia from 2021-2024.

In his capacity as Chief Executive Officer, Gregory has management oversight and responsibility for all lines of business and functions within the Bank and leads the Executive Management Committee in setting strategic direction for the Bank.

Gregory has extensive experience in serving the largest and most sophisticated clients with corporate and investment banking products, senior business leadership, strategy development/execution, risk management and corporate governance.

Mr. Garnier holds an Ms. in Management, majoring in Finance, from HEC, Paris.
